Being denied information by our government about details of the investigation is common practice. So surely he’s not harping on this. His right to know isn’t more important than figuring this out and sending a cruise missle to another Yemeni home full of terrorists.
If that were true, we would not have allowed Mr. Nigerian enemy combatant to lawyer up. This looks like a case where the other individual could have possibly blown the plane up on the tarmac, and the FBI is playing CYA. I don’t know about you, but I am sick and tired of being lied to by govt.
I don’t disagree with you about us not needing to know everything. I got the impression he was saying we’re being told this guy acted alone on the plane and he, and possibly others, are saying that was not the case. It could have been a dry run to see how the passengers and crew react with the distraction of one guy attempting something, allowing the others to do the real damage. Who knows?
