Reality:
As of Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at least 836 members of the U.S. military had died in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan as a result of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan.
That is up from 774 on October 3, 2009.
Do the math. From October to November 62 Americans were killed in Afghanistan.

Nov. statistic is only compared to Nov. previous year and does not take into account ALL the deaths between previous years. It is a deliberate misconception that American Deaths are down in Afghanistan.
Canadian Sources:
Afghanistan produces roughly 90 percent of the world’s illicit opium.
The UN stats for opium production are as follows: In 2001, opium production was reduced to 7,606 hectares and 185 Imperial tons of opium.
Fast forward to 2008, under NATO/UN control. Opium cultivation is now 123,000 hectares, with a yield of 6,901 Imperial tons.
