I put the sliced habaneros in a pot with two parts water to one part white vinegar and a little Splenda, bring it to a boil, remove from heat, let set five minutes. Then place the habaneros and a small ammount of the liquid in a blender and blend it to the consistency that I like.
I use to use garlic cloves and sliced habaneros, got way too many complaints about garlic breath. ;)
Every morning I have bacon and eggs, I put a tablespoon of habanero sauce in three eggs, with a good slice of crumbled white Tillamook extra sharp cheddar cheese, salt and thyme.
Two more men charged in plot to bomb subways
Snips: Two men already in custody were indicted on Thursday on new charges of participating in a Qaeda plot to detonate explosives in the crowded New York subway system, and federal prosecutors suggested that more people would be charged in the case.
Jeffrey H. Knox, the assistant United States attorney overseeing the case, told the court that it was likely that other defendants would be charged in the case, adding, although probably from overseas.
Snips: Onetime adviser to George W. Bush and Weekly Standard contributor Tevi Troy suggests that the federal government is indecisive over the best way to distribute its stockpile of countermeasures to anthrax and smallpox to the population. Maybe the post office could deliver these potential life-savers, or they could be distributed from designated centers. How about handy "home medkits"? The Food and Drug Administration has yet to even approve the labeling of the kits.
"Unfortunately, some public health experts and federal officials don't like medkits because they fear that people can't be trusted to use the materials only when necessary. This short-sighted mentality will make it much harder to get crucial countermeasures distributed appropriately when needed."
