Nuclear scientist goes missing in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Feb 25 (IANS) A nuclear scientist, S. Ananthanarayanan working in the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) in Tamil Nadu is missing since last week, police said Thursday.

According to him, Ananthanarayanan is certainly not deployed on any sensitive assignment nor does he have access to such data.

But what precisely was he educated in??? Until we know that, we have no idea what value he may have to others, nor if perhaps he had other classified work at the same location. Hard to seriously imagine that a nuclear scientist is hired to code computers for the employees' healthcare, right???
He wouldn’t be that would be like calling a computer programmer a doctor just not possible.

Kalpakkam: The missing scientist from Kalpakkam Atomic Centre was found dead on Friday. The scientist, working with the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam was missing since last 11 days. Ananthanarayanan, an E-grade Scientific Officer at the centre's computer division, had not returned home since February 15. Authorities of the Kalpakkam atomic plant had said that Ananthanarayanan was not involved in any sensitive projects.
