It's a matter of confidence, too. If these same gumshoes can't follow the logic on why their explanations don't hold water, then will they be able to effectively follow the trail of the bad guys?

And, again, it comes back to the administration. Obama’s administration has proved over and over to have very little respect for the truth :and: a very pathetic ability to care much about effectively hiding their deceptions beyond denying what is patently obvious. If federal law enforcement appears to be doing the same...it's going to raise red flags.

Yep, law enforcement and gumshoes on the ground can never appear completely credible if they are working for an administration with no credibility.
