We’ve been doing these threads systematically for about four years now. Before that, GrampaDave and others would post whenever there was a layoff or bad news or cutbacks in the media.

I’ve loved ever minute of doing these postings and searching for the stories all over the web. It literally makes my day!

I’m 59 and have been a news junkie all my life. And all that time, I have prayed for the information stranglehold to be undone.

And now it has.

I thank God that he’s let me live long enough to see it happen and report on it.

And Apple's much-rumored iSlate tablet computer won't save the MSM much, either--mostly because the tools to create content for this new device are likely going to be dirt-cheap (all you need is an iMac and likely a web hosting service to bring stuff up to iTunes, with none of the expensive overhead of entire "dead tree" printing process).
