LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles County prosecutors have decided no charges will be filed against a suburban police officer who kicked a surrendering suspect in the head after a dangerous car chase.
Rodriguez, a parolee heavily covered in gang tattoos, was lying face-down on the ground during the May 13 incident, which was broadcast by a TV news helicopter. After four officers converged on Rodriguez, two of them did a "high five."

Fornicalia prolly shucked this off because they are so cash strapped they can’t even prosecute some of the gang bangers they catch and if they do they can’t figure out a place to put them with Uncle Sam on their backs too about the prisons. Prolly figured it would get kicked upstairs to the Feds anyhow; why pay four or five times out of an empty pocket when they only have to pay twice? This bum swearing vengeance as he is caught is hardly a sympathetic figure, however it is a well proven principle that hard cases make bad law and this looks like no exception.
This case certainly seems to have inspired an outpouring of vengeful sentiment.
Speaking of freedom, rights, and the Constitution...I’d love to see the look on the faces of all the leftists in this thread if a member of a racist criminal gang performed these actions with a willful disregard for the safety of the citizens of Philadelphia, circa 1778.
