When I read your post I had to click on your name to see if you lived in my neighborhood, lol! That’s just exactly what our postmen do as well, it just burns me up because then I have to go stand in line at the post-office while the passive-aggersive postal workers mosey around to wait on other hapless souls who had the nerve to order a package that needs delivering. I am home most of the time during the week so I know these postal workers do not bother to knock on my door.
EXACTLY. My postwoman has been doing my mail for 7 years. SEVEN YEARS. To this very day she does this with the signature cards. I report her every single time she does it in hopes that I see someone new doing my mail. Usually the superiors back at the P.O. are pissed that she is doing this still. Certified mail..anything...I have to drive 9 miles and stand in line to pick something up I could have just gotten at my front door had she bothered to get out of her mail truck and walk up to the door.
One day years ago she was complaining about her pay...$18.25 an hour. I laughed really hard and asked “How much do you think you should be getting paid?”, she said “At least $25.00 an hour...for the crap I have to put up with.”
