I love Rush. But Rush wears leather-soled loafers with no socks. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard for this Western girl. NO man or boy I ever knew or grew up with would be caught dead so attired. It's a dead give-way: tourist dweeb!

It's simply not done.

That said, I'm beyond relieved to hear the news that he's stable, and of course many prayers already sent from my end that the Almighty keep Rush safe, deliver healthy recovery, and bless his doctors and caretakers with skill and good timing. But it probably would never have happened if Rush went barefoot in sandals in warmer weather, the way God meant men to do! ;^)
