HONOLULU -- Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays. Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.

Has anyone ever tried the Ritz cracker, fake apple pie? I save the recipe for a long time. Sounded, well, interesting. I like Pecan Pie too. Heck, just about any kind of Pie except for MINCEMEAT.
Lemon Meringue was my favorite when I was a little girl! I still love the meringue but I’ve come to like Key Lime better. I do have a very sweet husband, but I had nothing to do with any training. He was that way when I met him. You’d die were I to tell you who he was best friends with at the US Naval Academy. Well, that’s a huge hint.

Rush Limbaugh: Justice For All

This post was created by a very close family friend who wrote this regarding her concern for the treatment of Rush Limbaugh during his recent attempt to become a partial owner of the St. Louis Rams:
Regardless if you agree with his conservative point of view; the recent treatment of Rush Limbaugh by Dave Checketts, the National Football League, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the media, in regard to his bid to purchase a minority fraction of the St. Louis Rams is appalling.
The obvious smear campaign mounted against Rush affects all Americans, as it is an attack on our individual liberty and right to the pursuit of happiness. The statements levied against Rush are designed to impugn his reputation and to deliver attacks on his personal character.
All of those involved with the spreading of fabricated quotes should be ashamed. It is a sad day, when the normal NFL vetting process cannot be followed and people such as Mr. Checketts cower to intimidation prior to routine vetting.
Rush is a self-made American success story. Like many of the owners and players in the League, Rush started out with a dream and was able to make that dream a reality through incredible hard work and talent. Everyone who personally knows Rush Limbaugh knows him to be an incredibly generous person and loyal friend to all.
He has a deep love for the NFL, true admiration for the athletes and their unique talents. He loves the United States and wants Americans to be the best they possibly can be. His intentions were simply to help keep the Rams in Missouri, his home state, after being approached by Dave Checketts to join the ownership group bidding on the team, and ultimately make the Rams a winning franchise. He would have made an excellent St. Louis Rams owner, with heartfelt dedication to the players.
The double-standard is blatant. The NFL has permitted athletes who have been punished for their actions the great honor of playing in the League. Despite having participated in illegal activities, NFL athletes such as Michael Vick, Ricky Williams and Adam “Pacman” Jones were reinstated to be a part of the League.
Most Americans agree that each of the above named athletes carries with them some element of controversy. Other celebrities, apart from their personal views, affiliations or actions are minority owners of NFL franchises. Celebrities such as: Stacy Ann Ferguson “Fergie”, Serena and Venus Williams, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, were recently accepted as minority owners of the Miami Dolphins.
It is unfortunate that race is any part of this discussion, however since they have made it so, know this, some of Rush Limbaugh’s closest financial advisers, friends, and idols are African-American. His radio show producer/call-screener is African-American, the list goes on. Rush does not mention this on a routine basis because he does not classify people this way. He sees these people as colleagues, friends, and advisers, first and foremost.
This message should be shared with as many people as possible, including the National Football League in New York. Rush Limbaugh deserves a public apology from everyone involved.
The truth does not always spread as far and as fast as the lies, but I have confidence that everyone in the American public will recognize this smear campaign for what is it and that the truth will win out.

It’s probably no surprise, but conservative talker Rush Limbaugh isn’t going to get a break from the liberal cheap shot artists on cable television in the wake of the news he will be getting married to Kathryn Rogers on July 4, 2010.
