HONOLULU -- Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays. Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.

Hey Everybody!!...as shocked as I was by reports of his hospitalization, and relieved to hear that he did NOT die and is resting comfortably...
HE IS JUST ONE MAN.
Granted he IS “El Rushbo” and the voice that speaks for many, many Americans. However...One day, we WILL lose him, whether by natural causes or an Obama crackdown. What will we do then?
Do we NEED Rush to take back our country? No! WE as Americans can do it. We as Americans need to take matters into our own hands and DO what MUST be DONE! Yes, Rush is a living symbol to rally behind, but he is just a man.
Rush can’t take back the country for us. WE have to.
So, pray a prayer or five for his speedy recovery, and don’t forget to thank the Lord that he hasn’t been taken from us. But PLEASE fellow FReepers...remember that WE are the power, not Rush.

Yeah, and I sure did. A bit out of character for me,(BS) but tonight was a doozie of a night.
Well, that is good to hear. He needs the benefit of exercise or something to induce 'breathing' and/or enhance oxygen intake. At the least and as an added benefit; oxygenating enzymes; or. . .h202! Bottom line. . .'need oxygen'! And more of it; when body stressed. And yes, he probably is enjoying it more; now that he lost the weight; he still often speaks of how much he hates even the 'idea' of exercise; or maybe he is speaking of what is worse for him; people telling him he must/lol. . .
And treadmill notwithstanding; when you see him broadcasting; he is like a conductor; his hands/arms, alway moving; and that may be a 'saving grace' as well, for Rush.

That is so sweet and special, seeing this.
I enjoyed seeing that pic of Biodome’s dead corpse. He really was a slug. Even the doctor trying to revive him is a hateful insect. Since he was not famous no one will want those pics so please have them thrown into the garbage with biodome’s corpse, thanks.
I almost went to that BBQ... There was some reason why I could not attend and I was bummed.
After 10 years on FR, I finally met him as his Tea Party Express stopped in Griffith Park - in Oct or Nov? It made my day to shake his hand finally. I look forward to something happening where we can meet! I know I won’t be able to go to DC for Tax Day.
