I also know that he probably uses the study, which is to his left. Many presidents have done a lot of their work in that study.

I get the contrast in the photos, and I agree with you. But, I think the message he is attempting to send with these photos is that he is not furiously at work, that he is a cool customer who handles everything smoothly and easily. Nothing ruffles his feathers, not even a crashing economy. He wants people to think he is totally in control.

Most of the unthinking classes that voted for him will not see what you or I can see in these photos... you know, those that voted for him.

LOL. The Office of the Presidency is clearly above his pay grade. That picture screams that out! He looks like a kid visiting dad’s workplace playing office.
