PELHAM, NH (FOX 25 , myfoxboston) - Pelham Police arrested and charged a female Pelham school employee with three counts of sexual assault.
The woman is identified as Manuella St. Germain, 44, of Pelham, New Hampshire.
St. Germain is a paraprofessional for a Pelham Middle School has been placed on leave by the school district.
Pelham Police Detectives received a complaint from the Division for Children Youth and Families that alleged two male juveniles had been sexually assaulted.
Police executed a search warrant at St. Germain’s residence and placed her under arrest. The Police investigation is ongoing and further developments are expected.
St. Germain was bailed on $50,000 and will be arraigned at Salem District Court on January 11.
Letter sent to Parents by the superintendent :
Dear Pelham parents:
I wanted to make you aware of a serious situation that has arisen during this holiday break. One of our paraprofessionals has been charged with three counts of sexual assault. We have conferred with the Pelham Police Department who have issued a statement which is attached to this message.
At this point we want to assure all our parents and community that the individual in question has been immediately placed on leave pending further investigation, and will not be allowed on school property until the matter has been properly adjudicated and the Court has declared the individual innocent of all charges. Again, we want to offer every assurance that the sanctity and safety of our children's welfare is our utmost concern, and to that end, all appropriate steps have been put into place. Any further inquiries should be directed to the Pelham Police Department.
Thank you for your attention in this matter and if I may say in closing, we are very thankful and grateful to Chief Roark and his team for their timely response and appropriate investigation.

I had a friend in college went to law school after graduation. We had both been commissioned from Army ROTC upon graduation.
When my friend finished law school and went on active duty,he was assigned to the 82d Airborne Division.
He has always called himself a PARA-legal.
Did he pass the Bar? That would make him a lawyer. Not passing any bar would technically make him a para-legal so he would be correct.
A para-professional is hey - almost a professional like a Chiropractor they are almost doctors. 8-)
