A person was detained by customs at Detroit Metro Airport on Friday following Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's alleged attack on Northwest Airlines Flight 253, according to a spokesman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
It is unknown why the person was detained or whether the person will face any charges, spokesman Ron Smith told MLive.com.
Bill Carter, a spokesman with the FBI in Washington, D.C., said in an interview Tuesday that Abdulmutallab was the only person arrested or charged in relation to Friday's foiled attack.

The adminstration couldn’t keep this under wraps!
“alleged attack” ?? is there really a doubt?
bump
Another guy was arrested? Then how the hell could the idiotic president of the United States use the word isolated?! My God, just elect me next time, even I’m smarter than this guy and trust me, I’m no genius!
I’m sure there will be more to come to keep us transfixed while his other hand is very very busy.
A passenger spilled the beans on Fox (Greta I think) night before last, talking about another middle eastern man being arrested. I wondered then if it would ever be reported on by the MSM or our HSD flake.
Most of us read it here first on FR.
Most of the people I know consider me a ‘know it all’....and I am thanks to this website.
We are all safer when we have the TRUTH. Something demonrats always want to withhold.
Still no information from law enforcement or any further information from the media, regarding the report by the Haskell couple, as to the well dressed man attempting to help get the NW flight 235 terrorist on-board the flight to Detroit.
Prisonplanet.com has a you tube interview with a lawyer that witnessed the whole thing.here’s part of it.
“At this point a bomb-sniffing dog pointed at carry-on luggage in the possession of a man Haskell described as Indian around 30 years old. Officials led the man away to an interrogation room. Haskell said he was concerned because the bomb-sniffing dog had flagged the man, indicating he may have had explosives in his carry-on luggage. The Indian man was subsequently led away in handcuffs.
Following this incident the FBI moved the passengers to another location. Youre being moved, the FBI told them, it is not safe here. Im sure you all saw what happened and can read between the lines and why youre being moved.
Haskell said the corporate media refuses to cover this aspect of his story. He has repeated it to countless news agencies and they uniformly have not included it to his knowledge.
Mr. Haskell questioned why officials have not released the Amsterdam airport security video that will undoubtedly reveal crucial information about the sharp-dressed man who escorted a disheveled Mutallab to the boarding area. Haskell described the suspected terrorist as appearing to be a poor black teenager.
The well-dressed Indian man did all the talking. He insisted Mutallab be boarded on the plane without a passport and when an airport employee refused to do so Mutallab and the Indian man went to talk with a supervisor. The Indian man tried to pass off Mutallab as a Sudanese refugee and have him boarded despite the fact doing so would be in violation of regulations concerning refugees. In general, documentation must be provided by an embassy in order for refugees to board international flights. “
It was the Haskells.
“Is this the individual reported as being of Indian descent, that had a dog alert on his luggage, and who was then handcuffed and taken away for further investigation? My memory of who first reported this possible second actor is vague, although I am wondering if it was the Haskell couple?”
If true, the well dressed man was likely an airline or airport employee, or an accomplice. Either way, he was directly complicit in the breech of security. So far, only silence by the investigative agencies and most of the media.
Another thing —— how did the terrorist get just the seat he wanted -— I think it was 19C-— over the fuel tanks?
I often order tickets two weeks ahead of time and I can’t get the seat I want.
He got just what he needed, even tho he apparently got on at the last minute.
Any other passengers confirm this, for surely others would have seen it?
See post #15 in this thread.
>>> “The terrorist could have asked for that particular seat at the point of departure in Lagos, Nigeria, assuming he obtained a ticket at the counter, which I believe he did as a report was generated that the terrorist used cash. If he used a credit card or debit card, he could have ordered the ticket on-line, any number of days prior to departure, in an effort to better ensure that he got the seat of his choice. Or, he could have asked for the seat of choice, once he landed in Amsterdam. The aisle seats, bulkhead seats and seats near restrooms or the galleys tend to go first, due to the proximity to basic human needs, or for factors of comfort. A last minute cancellation may have provided a window of opportunity (no pun intended) for the seat that he eventually occupied. There is also the possibility that once the doors were closed, passengers were permitted to move to seats that appealed more to the individuals, often due to reasons of comfort or due to the desire to sit next to someone of interest, such as a family member or coworker.
Sometimes passengers reach a mutual decision to relocate their seats by switching with one another, once the seat belt sign is turned off, for various beneficial reasons, known only to the passengers, and often sanctioned by the flight attendants.” <<<
LOL, the “alleged” bomber had powder strapped to his upper thigh, used a syringe to puncture the top, caught his underware (which had additional powder inside) on fire, burned up a blanket covering his lap, destroyed his manhood and the screaming media’s PC, uses the term “alleged”.
“Isolated incident.”
FORE!
2nd arrest confirmation ping
