Iranian Leader Ayatollah Khamenei's jet put on standby (for evacuation to Russia)

Reports from Iran indicate that the Supreme National Security Council has ordered a complete check-up of the jet which is on standby to fly Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei and his family to Russia should the situation in Iran spiral out of control. The order, to the Pasdaran Revolutionary Guard Corps, was dated on Sunday, 27 December. A fax containing the order was sent to Dutch-based Shahrzad News.


 
In Iran, tens of thousands of pro-government supporters took to the streets on Tuesday, calling for leaders of the opposition to be punished. They say the opposition is to blame for the protests during the Shiite festival of Ashura in which eight people are reported to have been killed by riot police.
 
Opposition supporters launched the demonstrations following the death of Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri a critic of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The protests were crushed by the authorities and the opposition is now calling for the government to apologise for the excessive violence used by the police.
 
President Ahmadinejad says the United States, Great Britain and Israel are behind the protests. The British ambassador in Tehran has been summoned by the Iranian authorities. The Revolutionary Guard says the foreign media and Iran's enemies are waging a psychological war aimed at bringing down the legitimate Iranian government.
 
Some Iranian MPs are calling for demonstrators to be sentenced to death. Various opposition figures have been arrested including the sister of Nobel peace prize laureate Schirin Ebadi.

The Iranian opposition group, the MEK, constantly fabricate false stories. That “copy of a letter” looks like one of their productions.

MeK was on the side of IRI around 1979 - just to bring down the Shah's gov't - Masoud Rajavi was its main leader then.

But, IRI executed many of them after Khomeini officially took power in Iran in 1979, and thereafter many MeK members were killed during Iran-Iraq war of 8 yrs in the 1980’s. Many by Khomeini's (IRI) troops.

I wouldn’t be surprised if MeK, some of them, at least, jumped ship AGAIN to side with Mullahs or infiltrated by mullahs’ agents and their extensions, in recent years.

MeK has always been an Islamic Marxist (left wing) group – just take a good look at its more recent leader “Maryam Rajavi", she wears the hejab too. Though, she is a Leftist Islamist, not Right wing Islamist. Hopefully people prefer neither.

MeK loathe the “in power” Mullahs’ Regime.

Next to peaceful protesters in Iran, at the moment, I’d say IRI fears nothing more than MeK.

I have decent MEK contacts I have not yet used. They understand we are on the same side until the regime they also do not like, falls. After that we could be enemies or political adversaries. They have agreed with me on this.

I don't think we can ignore the possibility that "some MeK members" may have jumped ship over to the Mullahs. Nor the possibility of Mullah inflitration. I'm sure you would agree that mullahs' agents, at least, try to infiltrate various opposition groups.

Now is the time Obamarx needs to be out pushing freedom and democracy. this may be our one shot to topple the suicidal death cult of Islamic fanatics that are running Iran. The young Persian population is crying (and dying) to be free from their tyranny.
