Senator Is the Centerfold (Scott Brown pics)
Cosmo ^ | Sept 22, 2009 (June 1982)

Posted on 12/29/2009 7:00:29 PM PST by Daisyjane69

Long before he was a politician, the Republican candidate vying for Ted Kennedy’s U.S. Senate seat posed nude for the centerfold of Cosmo. Scott Brown won our “America’s Sexiest Man” contest and appeared in the June 1982 issue. In those days he was a 22-year-old law student at Boston College who was cramming for finals just days before stripping down for our photographer.

“Here at Cosmo we’ve had bachelors go on to be actors, models, and reality show stars, so we’re thrilled that one has gone on to become a politician,” says Kate White, Cosmo’s editor in chief. Obviously we know how to pick ’em. This particular bachelor has always had political ambitions and even admitted to being “a bit of a patriot” when we interviewed him.

She REFUSES TO DEBATE him !!!!

They have had one or two debates already. But...one was taped during the week and -- no joke -- aired on a Boston AM radio station on a Sunday morning. The same thing happened the last time Kennedy and Kerry debated their last opponents.

I would watch or listen to a debate, but I often don't get the stations that Massachusetts media puts them on.

Do you think the vote will be supressed because people don’t know he’s leading in the polls?

ok, who do you support in this race ... that has ANY chance of winning?

Remember, if we pick someone who has no chance of winning at all, we will end up with Obamacare which will include taxpayer funded abortions.

She would be worse than Boxer whenever possible and that’s going some.

Coakley was the one not long ago, who, as AG, prosecuted a guy for punching out a perv who was trying to molest his young son in a public restroom. And then there were the Amiraults...

I think that’s what they’re hoping for.

One more thing...I suspect that the Dem candidate isn’t getting a lot of help from the DNC or the Dem Senate Committee. Because this year, they have a LOT of unpopular seats to defend.

I doubt they see much reason to fund what should be a “safe” seat in the bluest of blue states.

Thoughts?

“See if we can find who has the Mass. ping list.”

My guess would be Raccoonradio, he has a list for Howie Carr (WRKO) listeners.

I think Rush should keep quiet and write a BIG check. Ditto for the rest of the conservatives.

His participation will stir up the lefties.

UGH. She’s absolutely dreadful! The very last thing we need in the US senate is a know-it-all woman lawyer with her priorities out of whack. She sounds like she belongs on a Vermont bench catering to pedophiles.

Support whomever you want. I don’t support Leftists, no matter what letter they have by their names.

When I depart this mortal coil, I don’t want to be one of those who has to explain to my Maker why I gave aid and comfort to those who support the brutal killing of millions of innocent, helpless children, who helped destroy the moral premises of our precious American republic, or who for political expediency’s sake compromised away our posterity’s liberty.

Hey Lost in Bayport, that last group is lead by a homosexual DJ who got his butt kicked in by the P-Town police and he is none to happy how Coakley settled the matter...in favor of the cops I guess. She really isn’t liked. It is a question of machine politics over individual voters making into the booth, imho.

Good idea!

Also, be sure to notify any senior citizen in MA. The cuts to Medicare are scheduled to begin right after the Nov. elections.

I don’t know what to think. I suppose they believe the seat is safe and they likely have the democrat machine all geared up for election day. I’m just worried about voters thinking Brown doesn’t have a chance and not bothering to vote.... when in fact, he’s leading in the polls!

I distinctly remember her. VERY tall..VERY smart and VERY talented. Simon asked her what she enjoys doing more, singing or playing basketball and she had a hard time answering that question. When she went to Hollywood, she missed her family..that I remember. This was so many years ago. It’s funny the things that stay in your head.
