Those scanners go off for a lot of reasons other than shoplifting.
You're absolutely right, its happened to me. I immediately turned around and walked back to the self service cashier and ended the problem.......altho there was no problem.
Some people just go thru life with a chip on their shoulder wanting their ass kicked I guess.........Idiots choose WalMart greaters......LOL!
