The good news for Senator Ben Nelson is that he doesnt have to face Nebraska voters until 2012.
If Governor Dave Heineman challenges Nelson for the Senate job, a new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey shows the Republican would get 61% of the vote while Nelson would get just 30%. Nelson was reelected to a second Senate term in 2006 with 64% of the vote.
Nelson's health care vote is clearly dragging his numbers down. Just 17% of Nebraska voters approve of the deal their senator made on Medicaid in exchange for his vote in support of the plan. Overall, 64% oppose the health care legislation, including 53% who are Strongly Opposed. In Nebraska, opposition is even stronger than it is nationally.

If Nelson would change his stupid vote, his obviously doomed fortunes might change.....

When the voters of Nebraska gain first-hand experience proving their Senator is supportive of an American Holocaust, his poll numbers will be as good as Hitler’s would be in Nebraska.
DeathCare is a means whereby the Democrats in power mean to limit care to the elderly thereby creating a Democrat Final Solution.

Had Nelson been up for reelection in 2010, he might not have voted as he did. He's hoping people will forget about this or their anger will subdue in 3 years time. He may be right. It's hard to stay angry that long. I sure can do it, but most cannot. I'm sure many on this site can stay angry that long as well and have a sufficient memory to recall how duplicitous he was.
It's too bad that Nebraska doesn't have a recall provision for Senate. There's something to be said for a vote of no confidence. Maybe they can get a non-binding resolution on a ballot to condem Nelson?

Nelson is counting on the short memory of voters, and he will try to do something close to his next election to show that he is a “moderate.” He has fooled the Nebraska voters before, why should he think that anything has changed? Nelson will become a verb in American politics to denote corrupt politics. A state in which its representative is willing to destroy the nation for perks will be “nelsoned.”

He’s toast.
Some of these demo clowns think hussein obama will come in and help campaign for them. What they’re going to find out is that being associated with obama will actually hurt them.

Hopefully he’ll be thrown out with the rest of the trash that remains in 2012.
