I live in California and I reluctantly am forced to agree with you on this one. People in this state are so stupid and ignorant when it comes to energy that it's almost impossible to comprehend.

Only BLACKOUTS and BROWNOUTS can bring people to their senses. I hate to say this but it's true. I'd like to see California make a go of it with their windmills and solar plants (if there are any in operation). I cannot believe that there is any other way. We’ve been to Palm Springs 3-4 times in the last 7-8 years, flying into LAX or Ontario. So each time, we drove right through the valley where all the windmill farms are located.

Each time, I was amazed at how many non-running windmills there were.
