On Christmas Day, an Islamist fanatic tried to blow up an airplane whose passengers were mostly Christians. And we helped.
Our government gets no thanks for preventing a tragedy. Only the bomber's ineptitude preserved the lives of nearly 300 innocents.
How did we help Umar Abdulmutallab, a wealthy Muslim university graduate who decided that Allah wanted him to slaughter Christians on their most joyous holiday?
By continuing to lie to ourselves. Although willing -- at last -- to briefly use the word "terror," yesterday President Obama still refused to make a connection between the action, the date and Islam.

Islam is not a religion. It is a violent political ideology with its own set of laws. Religion is only one component and is used to impose islam on non muslim societies. Islam is anathema to the Constitution. They cannot coexist.
If this bomber had succeeded, we would now be being told that the plane suffered “mechanical failure.” BTW, the perp was sitting right ab ove a gas tank...coincidence? WHO helped this man get on the plane without a passport?
Terrorism has discovered that political correctness is a useful tool! The liberal so called progressives in this country have slit their own throats and have put all of us in a compromised position. I still struggle as to whether all of this is not part of the plan.
Obama, the Kenyan usurper and fake US citizen, did NOT
call the attack terrorism. Obama said it was
“ATTEMPTED TERRORISM”.
Fake president. Fake announcement to protect the
Friends of Obama (ie. worldwide terrorists).
Yeah, let’s strip search a few more nuns and Menonites.
It gets worse. Instead of focusing on the religious zeal and inspiration of our enemies and how such motivations change the game, our "terrorism experts" agonize over whether such beasts as Abdulmutallab or Maj. Hasan, the Fort Hood assassin for Allah, are really members of al Qaeda or not.So obvious to anyone who doesn't have the Marxist agenda of destroying a free and sovereign USA and needing muzzies as their ally in that cause. As a Sunday Post editorial pointed out, al Qaeda's far more than a formal organization; it's an idea, a cause. If a terrorist says he's al Qaeda, he is, even if he doesn't have a union card from Jihadi Local 632.
We're dealing with a global Muslim movement, not a Masons' lodge.
Don 't forget the rasscaly Amish, and Baptist!
Or better yet, lets shutdown the DHS, and use that money to buy everyone a private jet. With the money thrown down the DHS black hole, its conceivable.
Every mosque on US soil will now be outfitted with remote control detonators and enough C4 to vaporize it. Failure to comply will result in the immediate destruction of the mosque and execution of all "religious" leaders associated with it.
The next attempted terrorist attack on American interests anywhere in the world will trigger the explosive demolition of 10 American mosques during "prayer" services.
A second jihadi attack will result in 100 mosques going up in smoke along with the permanent expulsion of all Muslims from America (repatriation to their home country is irrelevent, as they will be dropped off in Cuba or Somalia).
A third attack will result in the thermonuclear destruction of Mecca and execution of all Muslim clerics in America.
A fourth attack will cause us to take drastic measures.
To paraphrase Don Rumsfeld: You have to deal with the Islamo-Fascists you really have, not the “Peace Loving Muslims” you wish they were...
Unfortunately, we have no idea how many more Americans have to die before people wake up, realize that Islam is inextricably tied to terrorism and shout for it’s removal from the US.
I want to personally reconfirm what has been said before. Sharia law and our Constitution absolutely incompatible. One must prevail. Our Constitution allows for flexibility and acceptance, Sharia does not.
Good Reading!
For you calendar watchers mark it as a terrorist attack on US airspace under Obamas watch. Bush didnt do this one.
Now the moron in chief calls it an alleged terrorist attack.
We are so hosed. We have a Kenyan in Charge. Blood is thicker than water.
The Obamanoids are blaming the breakdown on procedures inherited from the Bush administration. They’ve had over 11 months to modify them, yet it is still Bush’s fault for making things so difficult.
Yes we are reminded as much as they can that they inherited the mess. This one is different. This one happened on Christmas Day and is the 2nd terrorist attack on our country under his watch. He has some splain’n to do.
Blindness? You mean like covering our eyes?
This cannot be done by a free state. It is giving too much power to the govt. Will my pet cause be next?
Private citizens and groups must enact this at great risk to all they own and their lives.
Most of our home-grown Islamist terrorists hail from middle-class families -- such monsters as Maj. Hasan or the Virginia virgin-chasers under arrest in Pakistan (where jail conditions are a lot worse than at Guantanamo -- can't we just leave 'em there?).This isn't a revolt of the wretched of the earth. These terrorists are the Muslim-fanatic versions of Bill Ayers and the Weathermen, pampered kids unhappy with the world. Al Qaeda's big guns are re- belling against privilege. There's a lot of Freud in this fundamentalism.
Spoiled brats remade their god in their own vengeful image. And we have to kill them. This one really is a zero-sum game.
We're not just fighting men but a plague of faith. Until Washington accepts that, we'll continue to reap a low return on our investments of blood and treasure.
I wonder if Bill Ayers and the Weathermen still consider this their moment of triumph since their cohorts in the rat party took over D.C.?
Who was it that said Islam is a Religion of Peace?
On 9/11, when it became plain the perpetrators were Muslim terrorists, my first reaction was that we would have a great problem dealing with the problem due to our tradition of religious tolerance. It was a blind spot in our society that we still can’t come to grips with.
