what they need to do is make the cable more direct in viewing and paying. if you want only one channel then get that channel.

Basically that would put MTV/CNN/MSNBC and a bunch of the liberal cr#p out of business. I'd even cancel Nick for some of the PC cr@p they're trying to pull. I'd go for just pay as you go with recording rights. the only reason half of the cable channels are on is because they are bundled.

How true.

I get X number of channels from Verizon and most I don't watch or don't need.
Why can't I watch what I want when I want? I willing to pay a reasonable amount for that.

I just love how if you want one movie channel, then you must have all movie channels.

Why do I need the Sundance Channel?

Why does this channel even exist?

In four years of Direct TV, I have never seen a single thing worth watching on this craptastic channel.

Robert Redford sucks.

Agreed. In the long run they’re going to have to un-bundle. I’m not going to continue to pay higher fees for crap that I don’t watch and actually hate.

The problem is your say $50 cable bill divides up $1 per month for each channel. If you have cable or sat tv - you are keeping the liberal facists media alive. They have enslaved us and destroy conservative politicians.

I think from a customer service standpoint, having an ala carte menu would be a nightmare for cable/satellite companies. They would have to hire more workers to please more consumers, most of whom would change their minds next month. This is why they probably won’t do it, IMO.
