You are correct. Fatal popularitis. Word got to Rahm of Rasmussen's -21 for -21bama, from the other day. Not sure why they are drawing the sympathy strings today, given that he's back all the way up to -12, but if the -21 took about a week to get to them, perhaps they won't hear about the -12 until next week. Or, perhaps they fear today's -12 is headed back to -21 and below soon.
There is a cure for popularitis, but its strong medicine, and -21 would never go for it.
Remember all the socialist garbage that got rushed through Congress after the death of JFK? JFK had become unpopular - had he lived he would likely have lost the next election.
And with his defeat we would have been spared the "Great Society" with its trillion$ of our tax dollar$ poured down the toilet into everlasting gov't entitlement programs and bureaucracies (not to mention the destruction of the black family by those idiotic Great Society welfare programs)...
Much better that Obama live a long life - in ignominy and public disgust over his attempt to socialize health care. A living illustration of a mistake our nation must never make again.
