Just heard: ambulance called to Obama compound, Obama has left his golf game.
Can you imagine all the response vehicles that would have been at the WH when Teddy Roosevelt and his five very active kids lived there? (If it were NOW?)One or the other was always breaking a bone or getting stitches.
The WH doc attended to all their boo-boos.

Remember all the socialist garbage that got rushed through Congress after the death of JFK? JFK had become unpopular - had he lived he would likely have lost the next election.
And with his defeat we would have been spared the "Great Society" with its trillion$ of our tax dollar$ poured down the toilet into everlasting gov't entitlement programs and bureaucracies (not to mention the destruction of the black family by those idiotic Great Society welfare programs)...
Much better that Obama live a long life - in ignominy and public disgust over his attempt to socialize health care. A living illustration of a mistake our nation must never make again.
With no idea who is hurt or what the situation is, there is no call for the kinds of comments being made. I don't like the personal stuff anyway.
We have a Marxist who hates America in the White House and are all at grave risk because of that. There is absolutely no need for the personal assaults unrelated to the real threat we're facing.

You might consider me to be be hopelessly naive, but my view of Obama isn't as apocalyptic as yours. I believe that when all is said and done, he is a politician, not a monster such as those people you mentioned.

Yes!! The government and Hollywood taught me to hate Japs when I was growing up in the 1940's. They did too good a job.
When I fought I Vietnam, I had no qualms about killing VC or NVA, but there was no hatred. They were doing their job, I was doing mine. If I ran into one of them today, I'd buy him a beer and compare notes to determine if we were ever close to each other, etc. No hard feelings at all.
OTOH, I'm still suspicious of any Japanese encountered today. I've tried to moderate my feelings, but they still exist. And, over the decades, we have all learned that most of those attrocities we were told about in the Pacific Theater, after the war - were true. If the WWII Jap veterans and their government ever ask for forgiveness, it will be considered.

As it lay there in the pile of cow dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

1. Not everyone who drops $hit on you is your enemy.
2. Not everyone who gets you out of $hit is your friend.

We enjoyed our holidays also. had our six year old grandson.I told the atrw group...funny how my 67 year old husband likes the same toys my six year old grandson does. They were building things all day long. Take care.
