Two of the four alleged leaders allegedly behind the alleged al Qaeda plot to allegedly blow up an alleged Northwest Airlines passenger jet allegedly over Detroit were released by President Bush from the Guantanamo prison in November, 2007, ABC News is reporting, quoting American officials and citing Department of Defense documents.
There. Fixed it.
IF this story is true, the jihad freaks were released (probably in handcuffs) into SAUDI custody. Hence, it would be a SAUDI problem.(not Bush's fault)
Also, the enemy-on-the-left can't use the issue, since they wanted (and still want) them ALL released anyway. Never the less, this should end the debate on closing Gitmo (unless the plan is to um...martyr the occupants first, then close it - which is fine by me).
