Wasn’t the Dept of Homeland Security set up after 9-11 because different intel agencies weren’t talking to each other? It was supposed to be the clearing house/coordinating body for intelligence.
So now why after 8 years do we have multiple watch lists with multiple agencies that apparently do not cross-check?
It would seem to me that DHS is failing in its mission ..... or else those agencies realize what a douche DHS has become.
DHS originally had a bunch of competent people running key position inside the agency. I know I worked with them, but over time they replaced virtually all of them with lawyers and the technical “hands on” people finally left or just receeded into the woodwork.
