What’s up with this? Anyone know any reason for this, sinister, or otherwise? Anyone care to speculate???

The White House has a link to it in the article. Hot Air and the National Review mention it too. This is very dangerous. A complete violation of the US Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

The heads of the Military, CIA, FBI, State Troopers, local police, etc... need to understand what we are facing and what side of history do they want to be on.

I ask is this what the men at D-Day and WWII fought for?

With this change in the law, InterPol cannot be subpoenaed into court and forced to testify/reveal the how and why information on the criminal activity was obtained.

This, in turn, protects sources of information (snitches) and methodology / technology of and for intelligence collection.

So, other than protecting LEO and LEO Intel types, it doesn't do much.
