Until we regain some semblance of equality in Congress he is speaking to the choir!

Equally as important as them trampling the Constitution, the Dhimmirats have run roughshod over the will of the American people at the same time. With over 60% of the population clearly AGAINST this legislative tripe, the libtards paid NO HEED and passed it, anyway.

It’s time to take back the country.

He believes it undermines the constitution..but left early for Christmas vacation rather than trying to delay it further.

If the Representatives knowingly violated their oath to the Constitution by voting for this unconstitutional bill would that not be a violation of Federal Law and require them to be removed from office?

Didn’t have to read it, again. I already have. Did they? Screw them and anyone that looks like them. Did anyone see Andrea Mitchell this AM on MTP talking about her “concerns” of a public uprising?
Why doesn’t she ask her husband why?
Could you imagine either of them together in bed?
We are in deep sh$t and if you don’t believe it, you’re head is up your arse.

As cheerleader and enabler for the Bolshiviks in power now, and bedmate of the guy most responsible for our financial situation, I dare say she has reason to be concerned.

In a perfect world, Andrea Mitchell and her scumbag husband should meet the same fate as the Ceausescus of Romania.

And they’re not the only ones.

I read the transcript. She said the anger isn't fact-based.

Now, she's Himmler in a dress.

It’s great that many aspects of this bill will be contested in court and found unconstitutional. However, all that means is they will revisit the “forced commerce” approach and replace it with “tax and insure all” - a one payer socialist system. No different from Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, etc. Unfortunately, I think we are seeing Marx’s predictions come to pass. Democracy begets socialism by giving the masses power to take and give to themselves. The constitution should have been more constraining and dictated the purposes for which taxation could be imposed - defense of the nation and that alone.

The solution: http://pushbackuntil.com/Mandates.com

Be in D.C. for the State of the Union Address (date January TBD or February TBD). We have to continue applying massive pressure to our fellow Americans. The current Congress is full of corrupt, derelict people (Reid, Pelosi, Baucus, Durbin, Schumer, Kerry, et al) - we need to waken the American people so these corrupt people can be voted out at the first possible opportunity.

Be...in...D...C...!

The mandate requirements are the most pernicious legislation ever to come out of congress in a generation (or ever?). In the Wickard v Fiburn case, SCOTUS allowed federal regulation because there farmer was engaged in a commercial activity that could have an effect on interstate commerce. Even though I think this case was decided incorrectly, it does not go as far as the current federal legislation with its mandate to buy health insurance (or any thing else). Not buying insurance could not be considered to be commercial activity (as would growing wheat). Not buying insurance could be considered as having an effect on inter-state commerce, but so could buying insurance.
In other words, this preposterous legislation if upheld as constitutional would set precedent allowing the government to regulate (fine, tax, imprison) any activity or INACTIVITY that it sees fit. This would transform the Constitution into an instrument of tyranny for the federal government. I don’t think that even many socialist governments empower the government to punish individuals for an inactivity. If the mandates stand, why couldn’t the federal government pass a law and punish an individual for not voting? Or not voting Democrat?
The other thing is that non-citizen resident aliens would have more freedom than citizens. The resident alien could buy non “qualified” health care plans or not buy insurance at all. This would be another precedent affording a non-citizen greater rights than a citizen.
If this legislation stands, we should all call ourselves US subjects and not citizens.

They all did. They made a deal with Reid to get it done early so they could all get home for Christmas.
