You know,if everyone on the flight is scared out of their wits due to the behaviour of a passenger or passengers then i think terror is the correct word.
right, ITA! that's why flights 297 and flights 227 -- AND the stinkin' flying imams, for that matter, were all terror events, and successful.
One even got the perps paid! And **all** such incidents, whether deliberately or incidently also lead to info about how passengers and crew and media and airline security and pres respond to various incidents. So they are rightly called probes (Annie Jacobsen discusses in "Terror in the Skies" p 25), prob better than calling "dry runs".
