This issue is still running through the WH spin cycle. Nappy tossed out the “system worked” trial balloon. That one is going to end up like the Hindenburg. Along with that they are tossing Pops under the bus. But honest to gosh the verbiage they are using is just what we heard regarding the 9/11 bombers. I hope someone has the ability to put the sound bites together.

On This week without David or Stephy the DBM moderator's first question to Mitch McConnel is basically why did George Bush allow this?

Of course McConnel is slick enough not to fall for that and asks the mod why if this guy was on the terror watch list was he even allowed on the flight?,than it's time to change topics!! Let's go to obamacare!

Before that the final few minutes of Gibb's interview with the DBM moderator on on This Week Without Anyone Pertinent Hosting,revealed that Gibbs was told by Axelrod to smile a lot since it's the holidays and then change all questions to something you would "rather" answer,something you are more comfortable answering.

Back from mass and just caught your comment on Napolitano's "the system worked" quote.

What system? Are we going to have an alert Dutch film maker stationed on every plane? Is that the system?

Back on last January, Howlin (on another site) told me that we were now on our own. THAT is the truth!

We ARE on our own in defending against terrorism.

And my husband is overseas now and will be flying home through Africa and Heathrow in the middle of January. I just e-mailed him about the new regulations and told him he is going to have to be alert; apparently that is "the system that works."
