Israeli company finds oil beneath Rosh Ha'ayin

An Israeli oil exploration company on Thursday announced that it had found a huge amount of oil and gas during drilling below the city of Rosh Ha'ayin this week.
Givot Olam Oil Exploration Limited Partnership said that more than 60 percent gas was measured in the drill, indicating the first such find in Israel.

The company said it was too soon to determine what significance the find would bring to Israel, but added that it would become clear over the next few months of drilling whether it could be used for commercial purposes.
Givat Olam began drilling at the Megged 5 well beneath Rosh Ha'ayin last June. Its shares rose 123 percent upon news of the find.

mountn man. Correction! A friend alerted me to this news being on the DebkaFile moving headlines! Haaretz is the only actual newspaper I’ve seen it in BUT nothing anywhere else in the world as yet - maybe no-one has yet worked out the HUGE significance of Israel finding enormous oil fields in the world dynamics!
Let me guess...it’s a little bit but will end up lasting for 7 days! :P
This is good news, wait until the Arabs and their surrogates hear about it and ruin everything; as they usually do. They’ll start claiming that Israel is drilling sideways and stealing their oil...imagin that. I’m shocked, completely shocked I tell ya!

It would be great for Israel to find some oil as they have to currently buy it from Egypt and that could be embargoed anytime they got mad at Israel.
But I would prefer Israel inventing something that would eliminate the use of oil and be as simple as water. then we could eliminate buying oil and supporting the Saudis and the arabs.
