Baloney! You’re making stuff up. Did you even read what you posted? It’s a press release.
It plainly states they are having a conference on certain dates. It doesn’t say they just found out or all got “recalled” on 72 hour notice or anything of the sort. It says what most press releases say, which is date and purpose of an event and generally who will be attending. They’ve probably planned the conference for months. The fact that the press release was put out Thursday only means that YOU just found out about it.

How about the original link???
Please note the Israeli Government url.
I would think that the Press Release from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs would hold a little more weight than ANY media outlet — shouldn’t it?
TWhiteBear:
I’m getting an error page now on the INN/Arutz Sheva website that you linked around 2 hours ago. Did they pull the article? Interesting if so — I couldn’t even get to the home page without a download link (I’m thinking perhaps it’s a hebrew-letter thing, but I don’t take chances without knowing what I’m downloading...). Strange because I’ve visited that site many times over the last few years, but have never had a link of their act like that...
TWhiteBear’s tinfoil is on too tight.
It does seem like the oligarchy has set it up such that Israel has no choice.
Nevertheless, when they do . . . WWIII will evolve in short order. Life in the USA will never be the same. It will be much worse than it’s ever been before. Much, much, much worse.
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
YUP.
I don’t think that’s necessarily true. Although I don’t see the 72-hour notice that he implied, it’s not as if the state of world affairs make this meeting totally inconsequential.
Here’s the first paragraph. The website is slow and timing out now - may be due to the fact the Sabbath is just over and many are checking INN.
(IsraelNN.com) The Foreign Ministry is scheduled to hold its first-ever Heads of Mission Conference from Sunday to Thursday. At the conference, Israels ambassadors and consuls general serving throughout the world will discuss action plans to deal with the challenges facing the country in the international arena in the coming year, including the Iranian threat. A major part of the conference will be devoted to examining Israels integration and potential contribution to items on the world agenda such as the environment, renewable energy, water and sewage treatment, and new technologies.
Government officials have meetings all the time.
This guy took a press release and turned it into something entirely different, even saying to me the press release was just a ruse to cover all these guys running to the airport.
Believe me, the Israelis are having plenty of important discussions about Iran and many other things, and I doubt seriously they are going to make a spectacle out of it should they decide to take action. There’s plenty of real, known things going on to contemplate and discuss without having to make up silly conspiracies.
I personally think there is much more to this than meets the eye.
First, we are in very special times. Second, Israel is in real trouble, Third, this meeting is unprecedented. Fourth, anytime Jews return to Israel it is significant. Fifth, if something of very great importance were imminent, this kind of action is expected.
Consider also that the meeting begins on the 27th which is really 10 Teves.
Historic Significance:
‘And it was in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth (day) of the month, that Nebuchadnetzar, King of Babylon came, he and all his hosts, upon Yerushalayim, and he encamped upon it and built forts around it. And the city came under siege till the eleventh year of King Tzidkiyahu. On the ninth of the month famine was intense in the city, the people had no bread, and the city was breached.’ (Second Melachim 25).
We see then, that the tenth of Tevet - on which the siege of Yerushalayim began, was the beginning of the whole chain of calamities which finally ended with the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash.
Thanks for the ping!

You can read this either of two ways:
1. With the demonstrations against the Mullahs escalating in Teheran, now may be the ideal time for Israel to strike.
2. With the demonstrations against the Mullahs escalating in Teheran, it may be wise for Israel to lay low and give only covert support to the demonstrators.
Take your pick! Which is probably exactly what the Israeli ministers are doing.
Thanks.
