PHOENIX Phoenix police have rescued a 5-year-old girl who was reportedly abducted on Christmas Day.
Sergeant Andy Hill with the Phoenix Police Department said 5-year-old Natalie Rose Flores and her two sisters, aged 7 and 9, were playing by a tree in a common area of an apartment complex near 19th Avenue and Cactus around 2:15 p.m.
The girls are staying with an aunt, who reportedly has legal custody of the children, and her boyfriend, in an apartment in the complex. The parents live separately out of state.
Hill said the male suspect parked his truck in the parking lot next to where the girls were playing, got out with a camera, and forcibly took a photo of the 7-year-old girl.
He then forcibly took Natalie and started to drive off, according to Hill.
The suspect then allegedly struck a parked car and fled southbound on 19th Avenue.
Hill said a Phoenix patrol officer spotted the suspect vehicle and, after a pursuit, the suspect was caught at 2140 West Thunderbird. He was taken into custody.
Natalie was rescued from that vehicle and is alive and well.
We have had our Christmas miracle, said Hill.
Thank you God. Yes, nice to read good news, thanks.
What a beautiful child. Thank God the perp was caught.
Thank you for posting this story. This from a police officer who is getting tired of sh*tty stories about how we supposedly beat people and animals, and eff up stuff that keyboard warriors could handle in a single swoop...if only they left their keyboards.
You posting this story brightened my day, so thank you.
And, Merry Christmas!
besides the great news and it is G R E A T.........I live blocks away from where all this happened and want to point out that Thunderbird , Cactus , and Greenway ,are all side by side meaning the Police were on this POS within minutes if not seconds..........
........... he was going to kill this angel
thx for being a Police Officer !
Thank you for your service.
Yes, thank God a LEO saved this little girl. Now if we can just get the court system to lock this guy up for good.
But this statement baffles me. "and forcibly took a photo of the 7-year-old girl."
What does that mean?
Wonder if that beautiful child will grow up wanting to be a police officer. I’m thinking - YES!
radio talk is that he was maybe trafficking em and the pic was proof of another for more money........
Nah......a beautiful wife and mom is her callin’
Catch and release = job security at everyone elses expense; the only time the political class seems to want to do anything of a serious nature is when its one of their own.
There is more data and facts regarding sex offenders, recidivism and supporting extermination (the way it was done prior to progressive masters of smart and their government sanctioned programs for the many psychological industries) than there is for Man-made Global Warming.
Ok, you win! Perhaps before she gets married, then marries a LEO and becomes a mom.
Local Yuma,Az news said: He pulled down her clothes and held her while he took a picture. Before he grabbed and started running with her.
A very rare happy ending. Thank you Lord.
So much better an outcome than in MD. Sounds like the same family line, tho.
I’m a little surprised, since she was found, that they published her name, address and photo.
