I understand what you are saying, but it's still like saying being stupid is better than being retarded. We all rightfully balked at President Clinton overseeing a trillion dollar budget, but then Bush broke that record numerous times. All we did was go from dumb to dumber. If the GOP had stood for what the base believes, we'd be in no mess at all. Instead, we made excuses for Bush when we should have stood up and demanded better. It's now time to purge the losers out of our party or start a new one. Never again should we hold our noses to vote! We demand small-government on all fronts or we deserve Obama. But, when faced with Democrats or fence straddlers, the American middle will pick authenticity. It's up to us on the right to demand we return to the original intent of the founding fathers; anything after the thirteenth amendment needs to be repealed.
