Homeland Security has to be scrambling right now.
Or Janet Napolitano is planning on bringing charges on any passenger who participated in the subduing on the grounds that they were profiling anyone who yells Allah Akbar on a plane while trying to ignite something. Those passengers obviously just jumped to conclusions that the guy was trying to blow up a plane. They should have considered him innocent, until he proved he was guilty, which would have been actually blowing up the plane.
But a trial in Dearborn Michigan will at least include a jury of his peers.
Excellent assessment, S.C. The only coverage I can find is on the repulsive CNN, so I place little stock in whateve their ultimate spin is on the situation. They’ll find a way to PC all or part of it. Americans are ticked off, with hair-trigger nerves already, and the passenger who subdued this moron is to be highly commended for his immediate actions. Bottom line is that in many of these cases when all those multiple layers of security fail, our fellow vigilant Americans are our best defense.
