The story begins like this:

A 23-year-old Nigerian man tried to light a powdery substance aboard a Northwest Airlines flight before landing in Detroit on Friday, a senior U.S. counterterrorism official told NBC News.

Two people noticed the attempt and a third person jumped on the man and subdued him, an airline official told NBC News.

And ends like this:

Earlier Friday a Delta Airlines official said the incident began when a passenger set off firecrackers aboard the plane at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, causing minor injuries aboard the Airbus 330 carrying 278 passengers.

What????

Was it firecrackers or white powder?

Was the last paragraph merely a recap of the original report, that turned out to be in error?

Did the perp start out with firecrackers and then switch to white powder?

Was this a different flight, Delta instead of Northwest?

Where'd the "journalist" get his "Journalism Degree", Wal-Mart?

If the journalism degree came from Wal-Mart, I’d give him a lot more credit.

Yeah, over by the pre-paid phones. But you have to buy minutes for them or they expire. /s

Delta Airlines merged with Northwest Airlines back in 2007(?) and the DELTA name brand covers both.

Probably Columbia. The reporting is not good enough for Wal-Mart.
