States will leave the union and brave patriots will ward off the oppressive Federal forces. Slovenia did this a few years back. They left Yugoslavia and after a few skirmishes with a Serb dominated Federal army, they won and were left alone. Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia followed and Yugoslavia was no more.
