Chris Carney is a Blue Dog Dem from a conservative district in Northeast PA. He is also a commander in the Navy Reserve. Should he switch, he is sure to be a RINO.

Does the guy really need to switch parties in order to vote to the advantage of our Liberties?

When it is a seat that the GOP has no reasonable expectation to win, these switches are a serious coup.
But when they are in seats that are rightfully ours, it is just another give away.

Does the guy really need to switch parties in order to vote to the advantage of our Liberties? Well, probably, if he wants to continue to have an office indoors.

Yes, unless he wants his arm broke.

And .. the gathering of moderates begins.
If McCain thinks this will bring him the presidency, he’s still fooling himself.
The Tea Partiers are still not going to support McCain.

If a real conservative can win the seat in November, that would be better.
However, when a Dem defects, it sends a cold chill down the spine of the other marginal Dems, which might be useful in defeating Obamacare next month.

That’s the whole point. Why do these guys have to vote according to the leadership? They are all sell-outs. A bunch of flim-flam asswipes that need to go the way of the albatross.

The real point of this article is to, 1) alert the Dems that one of their own is teetering and, 2) to show everyone that the Repubs are trying to "steal" a Demo.
Never mind that the Dems do it to the Repubs all the time. See, that's OK to our liberal media; but when the Repubs try it on a Dem, the media alerts everyone to circle the wagons and isolate the "victim".
I can't recall, but maybe someone else here can, has there ever been a report in the media about the Dems trying to "steal" a Repub, I mean, before it actually happens?
