The problem is that the use of the term ‘racist’ is itself a disfunctional liberal thought- pattern that many who consider themselves conservative have fallen captive to. You insist that “it is their culture” as a chatechism, when in fact there is overwhelming evidence that it’s a whole lot more than that.
Insisting that it is all cultural is akin to the global warmers insisting over and over that “the science is settled” when it clearly is not, and in fact points in the other direction. in both cases the fundamental intellectual dishonesty is compounded by labeling those who choose to differ with liberal orthodoxy with pejoritive labels. “Deniers”. “Racists”.
People who toss such terms around are neo- conservatives, at best. That is they have carried over into conservatism the fundamental world views of liberalism and wish to enforce them on Conservatives.
Ultimately false- reality based faux- consevatism fails, whether it is neo- con nation building, big government conservatism, or unrealistic racial nostrums.
