Has anyone seen a fund set up for David Muneton? His photo just makes me so sad, as you can see the decency in his eyes. Here you have a kid who has tried to do the right thing and he gets savaged because of it.

I was on a jury once for just the same offense. A Hispanic teen and his friends thought this young black guy was flirting with his girl outside a club. Actually the guy was a close friend of her brothers. They beat the guy so bad his eye came out of the socket and if it weren't for an off duty policeman the guy would have been killed. Needless to say, we helped convict the guy and the judge sentenced him - not to some juvenile facility but to Angola - big time. He deserved everything he got! If they want to play - MAKE them pay!

Parents should sue everyone involved and that includes the school. You know, the school that says they have power over students’ behavior to and from school. Watch what happens if it goes to court. I bet the school will try to say they have no responsibility for what happens off of school grounds.

They have been trying to clean up Englewood schools for years. They have an academy for smart, mainly white and Asian kids, whom they lured back from the private schools. Then, of course, they have the jealous, troubled minority students.
