Actually, Reid is wrong.

Any Congress can overturn the actions of a previous Congress.

This only shows that Reid is stupid.

Yes, I was wondering how a statute passed by Congress could require a super-majority to repeal it. That would seem to me to be obviously unconstitutional. But then again are we even operating under a constitution any more?

or if they pass it and contravene the constitution like other issues, they continue to set precedence in the new “this Aint America no more” constitution. Continuing to foist crappola on America.

Then the next step is outlawing republicans as a right wing aryan nation hate group so there is no opposition.

You have to remember, they are a bunch of arrogant liars protecting their arrogant liar chief. Here they are demonstrating it and if the people are sttopid enough to buy it, they will slide it and spin it.

As explained to me by an MOC almost two decades ago, no Congress may bind another Congress, they cannot pass something in today’s session that either mandates a future session to some kind of legislation, ie, cuts in Medicare benefits to make the numbers add up in this thing, or disallows repealing of passed legislation.
