I simply can't find words to express my rage at the utter corruption of our political class, and the death of constitutional democracy at their hands.

I feel that what was the United States of America is now some repugnant soviet-style republic.

The anger is about to burst its bounds, and there will be a reckoning.

They do not know what they have unleashed. They shall rue the day. I have no sympathy for what happens to these traitors.

The next Revolution will make the first one look like a walk in the park.

Why do you care? The republic was doomed the day the Constitution was ratified. Where once we had 13 independent colonies, the Constitution legitimized a central state that enjoyed a legal monopoly over laws, territory, commerce, currency & levies (taxes).

Think about it this way: 99.999% of the people probably just want to be left alone to go about their business. Yet .001% are attracted to power & influence; if you're a pathological criminal, where's the biggest target?

It's a wonder it took this long to so thoroughly corrupt the system to the point of collapse. We should learn our lesson from this experience to hopefully design a better system during the next go-around.
