And our generals just sit back and worry about their political careers while the constitution they are legally sworn to protect is shredded and used as toilet paper by those who are in congress.

I am serious here. Why can't the military get involved in this?

I am a simple man (obviously) and don't understand why our military men can't step in and RESTOR our constitutional form of government?!?!

I am looking for an honest answer as to why they haven't or won't step in to correct this.

They would have my support (so long as the takeover was to restore our constitutional form of government.)

The situation has not developed yet to the point that the oath-bearers would be justified to act.

Give it 12-18 months, and keep your powder dry.

A minor little part of the Constitution that you may have overlooked.

Article II, Section. 2. The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States;

As long as they continue to believe that BHO is the President, they are bound by their oaths to obey his orders, as long as they are lawful, under the Constition and the laws made under its delegated powers, and not go off on their own hook. If the time comes when they can be convinced that he is not the President, because he fails to be eligible under

Article II, No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President

Then you might see some action.

“And our generals just sit back and worry...”

Coups are usually led by colonels and sergeants. We have plenty of those.

It would be a bad idea for the military to assume this responsibility. The real responsibility for any corrective should come from Congress. They could impeach Obama for failing to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic”, however since most members of Congress do not “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic” nothing is likely to happen.
