In Sweeney's trial he was acquitted of murder in Virginia, primarily because of a law that forbade the testimony of black witnesses, a law Wythe ironically had himself penned.”

Hmmm. So according to your advice, we should all be keeping slaves or at least pass laws to keep them from testifying in court, you know, because our founding fathers were right, correct and moral in any opinion they held 200+ years ago. Do you have any idea how stupid you can look when you use the "founding fathers" as support when you venture outside the realm of anything non constitutional construction? No, I'm sure you don't.

Moving forward, does the fact that Jefferson owned slaves (nowhere near 600 by the way) negate the Declaration of Independence? Is the Constitution null and void because its chief author, Madison, owned slaves?
And you conveniently fail to reply on the unambiguous references to God in those documents.
Speaking of God, are you aware that He sanctioned slavery? If you're not perhaps the Old Testament should be included on your reading schedule. God also doesn't appear to suffer homosexuals very well. Fortunately, like all sinners, even those who are pretentious blowhards :), they can change and get to be in Heaven.
Though God does not ask us to condone, tacitly or not, the ways of the sinner.
