The Fed is broke, and the 5 biggest US financial firms are hopelessly mired in credit derivative rollover obligations that boggle the mind. They need and want the trapped capital in the medical insurance industry, and demand the taxpayer make up for it thru taxation of new govt. medical insurance expansions. It is simple theft, and this aspect is not being included in the dismal picture unfolding before us. The administration and Dem Congress have decided to eliminate private health ins. coverage. It is more than govt. control alone...they want the money in the insurance companies freed up for their purposes instead of it supporting the private aspects of healthcare.

Republicans and tea partiers need to suck it up and head to college campuses across the country. This is a major opportunity for is to get young people to come over to our side. We need to let them know how screwed they are. How they are going to be forced to buy healthcare at the highest premiums on top of paying student loans in an economy with no new jobs being created for them. They need a reality check and the tea partiers are just the folks to do it. They will identify with us. We are like their moms and dads and grandparents.
