It turns out that Guttierez is a red, a Puerto Rican socialist. One book about Puerto Ricans in Chicago identifies him as a member of the Puerto Rican Socialist Party and a supporter of the marxist/Cuban-aligned FALN (Eric Holder’s favorite terrorist group).
