President Obama reportedly was re luctant to attend the final day of the UN's Copenhagen climate-change summit unless it was front-end wired to be a major political success.
But he went anyway, was twice humiliated in public by the Chinese premier and then finally settled for what the White House hailed as a "meaningful agreement."
Really? A top aide admitted that the deal was basically just "an important first step" that was "not sufficient to combat the threat of climate change."
Then Obama himself dropped the other shoe: The agreement contains no specific commitments on carbon emissions, only pledges that "will not be legally binding."

Our leftwing rag was fawning all over him yesterday for “brokering a groundbreaking agreement.” If you had no other source of information, you would swear that this guy is a veritable Tallyrand of diplomacy.
Obama’s foreign policy of apologizing and denigrating the US has created an image of weakness. Iran’s incursion into Iraq is an example of what dictators worldwide are planning to further humiliate the US. Obama’s is the world’s paper tiger.

Obama reportedly was re luctant, but hae he got to fly some place the boy loves to fly.
Hmmm. Didn’t some irrelevant moose-huntin’ mother of 5 from Alaska tell him to skip Copenhagen?
Shoulda listened to Sarah !
Even SNL’s fake news last night said “the deal is meaningless and we’re all going to die!” LOL.
I am kinda glad the “deal” is meaningless. That being said, I would have been happier if there was not even the illusion of a deal.

Hey, he managed to spend a few billion. Is that no progress? :)
