I look for the condemnation of Thermal Energy to become a slow steady drumbeat. Increasingly backed at some point by the Petro-Chemical Companies, The current Utility Companies etc..

All the energy you could ever use in your home sits a few hundred feet below and only takes some persistence and effort to obtain and convert it.

Permits. regulations.. the State declaring it owns the energy beneath your home.. All coming soon..

A few thousand feet below. Even in the bottom of the diamond mines in Africa they can’t get to half of the boiling water temperatures.

At a many thousand dollars per hundred feet to drill - and a LOT of mess and impact around the drill site.

Plus lots of messy and deadly H2S gas and vented noxious odors and underground water full of BAD chemicals that go into the groundwater.

Nah. Don’t do it. Not for thermal.
