I thought he got some kind of rabbinical dispensation when he was running for VP, did it expire or never count when he was just governing the “little people” ?
He must be about the only observant Jew or Christian in the Senate. Haven't heard of any others taking off for their Sabbath. Maybe the blizzard will worsen.
The Cliff's Notes version guiding Christians working on the Sabbath says: If you have an ass in the ditch, get it out. I don't think trying to rush this Obamacare through qualifies as an ass in the ditch, because whatever they might do on Sunday could also be done on Monday.
