And you are right, they do need our money. It is the only real power that the hard working conservative base has to use against them.

Of course to be successful millions of us will need to participate. Enough to send the DJIA to 5,000 and shrink the tax paying base by 30%. Any extra funds should be used to make yourself more independent of the system and to work to elect strong conservative candidates. But we can not rely on politicians. DC corrupts. Power corrupts. Even a saint going to DC will be turned to a whore over time.

Maybe Operation Thrift can be added onto the Tea Party movement. The Tea Party is about oppressive government, and Operation Thrift fits right into what it's designed to accomplish.
