I may be wrong but I don't doubt many CEO's and owners of companies nationwide are already making plans in anticipation of the bills being passed. They know it's going to cost them in one form or another.

Layoffs, raise-freezes, dropping benefits, lowering salaries and/or hours worked, hiring freezes, closing companies. Many, many, many workers will unwillingly not be making enough to keep the pocketbooks in Washington full.
